The Clay Studio

 Get your hands dirty and discover the art of pottery! In this four-session teen wheel throwing class, students will learn the fundamentals of centering clay, pulling walls, and shaping functional pottery on the wheel while building confidence and creativity with each project. Individual instruction and demonstrations make this class perfect for both beginners and those with some experience. Students will create a variety of unique pieces to be glazed and kiln-fired, leaving with handmade pottery they can proudly use and enjoy.

  This welcoming wheel throwing class is designed for both beginners and returning students who want to build confidence and strengthen their skills in a relaxed, supportive environment. New students will learn the fundamentals of centering, opening, and forming basic shapes, while continuing students will refine their technique and explore more control and consistency on the wheel.

Get your hands dirty and explore the art of clay in this fun and supportive ceramics class! You’ll learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing and hand building, creating everything from bowls and mugs to sculptural pieces. We’ll cover essential techniques such as centering on the wheel, slab building, coiling, and surface decoration, with ample room for experimentation, creativity, and personal expression. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to expand your skills, this class is a great way to grow your practice and connect with clay.
