A wonderful way for young children to express themselves while having fun. In this class, students will explore many applications and techniques including coiled pots, clay jewelry, handbuilding, textures and so much more! Tons of colorful glazes to choose from! Please send your child with a smock or apron. Clay is traditional low fire, pottery clay which will be fired in a kiln. Super cool!

Please know that when you come to your first Clay Day that you will be working with wet clay. This clay will then be fired once it is adequately dried. You will then have the option to come back at another Clay Day to paint a ceramic glaze in which it gets fired again. Please do not expect to create and leave with a finished piece of pottery in one visit. We also recommend taking a class to learn all of the proper techniques of making pottery.
