Students will learn how to use all of the basic jewelry making tools to create their designs. Techniques will include: jewelers saw, soldering, bezel stone setting, rolling mill textures, various cold connections, finishing & polishing. Each week a new project will be explored.
Recommended that students take a minimum of 2 sessions before signing up for Intermediate Level.

This is for the student who already knows how to use all basic bench tools and is interested in learning more advanced techniques such as crushed stone inlay, gypsy/flush setting faceted stones, melting and recycled metal, advanced soldering, hinges, and more. Instructor permission is required.
Pre Requisite: completed 2 sessions of Adult Metal Jewelry for Beginners or instructor approval

Students are required to purchase a 5 Class Pass to attend. This pass is for (5) attendances to any Wednesday class and are good for one year. This is great for those who cannot make a week due to scheduling conflicts. The class is now ongoing and students can join in at any time. Each week is project-based. Some projects do take multiple sessions to achieve.
Your passes include materials for each attendance.

Each Saturday morning Hattie opens her jewelry studio to those who would like to work on their individual projects. Hattie will make rounds to each student to guide and answer questions. The studio is fully equipped and students have access to all tools and equipment. Previous experience in metal jewelry making is required. We offer Adult Metal Jewelry Classes for beginners and intermediate students.
