This is an Intermediate metalsmithing class and will incorporate techniques such as hinges, tube setting, forging and advanced soldering projects. Many students have been coming to this class for years and many things have been covered including: crush stone inlay, small metal sculptures, flush setting, simple prong setting of cabochons and hollow forms. We will not be covering ALL of those things in 6 weeks but you WILL advance in your skillset. Though we incorporate stones in many projects, this is NOT a stonesetting class. You will want to enroll in our Strictly Stones Class.
