Dakota’s love for ceramics started around 7th grade in art class. While trying to sculpt a replica of her cat, she realized getting her hands dirty was her passion. Moving into high school, her passion for ceramics only grew. When she was introduced to the wheel for the first time, it was life-changing. As a recent college graduate with a Fashion degree, Dakota knows how important it is to take a break from life and enjoy art. She hopes to inspire people to get creative with clay even if her first sculpture looked more like an alien than a cat.
Join Dakota each Sunday in the Clay Studio where she will show you around and guide you with your clay projects and ideas. She will even show you how to get started throwing on the wheel!
